The Downhill XS Mountain Bike System is the newest generation of wireless timing from Brower Timing Systems. The system is portable, easy to set up, and run. The DH XS System offers increased dependability and is ready for event timing. The new Downhill event mode allows for on coarse passing and mass finishes. Some of the newest features include crystal synchronization, which means that the Wand and the Finish Beam are calibrated to the Timer with each use. There are also multiple power settings that cover any length course up to 5 miles (8 km).

	Multiple Channels- There are 32 independent channels that allow multiple systems to be used in close proximity without interference from other XS systems and radio devices. 2 Timing Programs- There are two different timing programs that enable the system to be customized to the needs of the racers. Click for a description of the programs. Exact Crystal Synchronization-With precise crystal matching, (+/-) 1/1000 second accuracy can be maintained from unit to unit for over 4 hours, over the full range of temperatures experienced in racing. Lifetime Frequency Recalibration- The XS system re-calibrates itself each time it is synced, eliminating the need for future tune-ups. Full Time Back-up Timing- The Photocells automatically save starts and finishes independent of the Timer that can be accessed with the USB Interface XS (sold separately). Portable and Easy to Use- The entire system weighs just 6 lbs. (3 kg.) and comes in a small lumbar pack. All of the units are programmed through the Timer and set up quickly. Extended Battery Life- Systems run on standard 9 volt alkaline batteries that last up to three years under typical use.
